Growing Pains
New projects often require funding and my new projects are going to force me to sell of some of my knives and gear.
I'd like to offer them to you, dear readers, first but wonder if this is the correct forum for that sort of thing. I don't want this to become the gear exchange blog but do feel that you might appreciate having a bit of advantage over the rest of the knife/gear/outdoors maniacs on the Internet. :)
What say you?
Thanks,
B

I say "SHOW ME THE GEAR!!" a la Jerry McGuire. Pictures, specs, rich narratives about said gear, etc...
If you somehow can accept PayPal, it would make it easier for me at least...
Mungo out.
I say you have me set up a "Secret" page on our website with no outside links. You can post the link in the blog. You and I can list all your stuff with sell prices for the readers and have a shopping cart set up and I can take care of shipping and such as well!
Let Me Know!

I have just thought of a better idea - send me all your gear and I will keep it and play with it and let you know how I've used it and the benefit to you will be the satisfaction that you feel, knowing that the gear is going to a good home and that it is being well used.
At least I thought it was a good idea. What say you?
Our shopping cart is Paypal Based so we are all good to go!
:)
Bring it!!
Alright, I'm going to take Dan up on his offer and post stuff over on his site.
That makes life pretty darned easy for me here. Now if I could just ease the pain of getting rid of some gear that I'd really like to keep.
Ah well, must keep moving forward; never back.
Thanks everybody,
B
Hey Mungo,
Didn't you tell me once upon a time that you were in the market for a Fallkniven F1? As I've got six now it's probably time to let a few go if you're looking for a particular flavor.
B
Hello - YES! I would be quite interested in an F1 - can you send me some information? mungobah [ a t ] gmail [ daht ] com...
Cheers
Mungo
I think it's a great idea....it is YOUR page so you do get to call the shots! (as long as I get first dibs on your Bark River Mini Axe :-)

Sad news B; but great news for us!!
I was going to offer to create a members only group on the woodlife network, but it look like you've got things sorted now.
I too am particularly interested in an F1. I'll join the queue behind Mr Mungo.

p.s. if you're planning to send Mungo some info on the F1's perhaps you could copy me in as well. After all why should HE get the best one? ;)
Cheers,
Pablo
Bushman,
Where is Dan's site?
Okay.....I am dying to here what the new project is! :)

Is this finally the simplifying of your kit? ;-)

Pablo, not sad news. I'm going to "reinvest" the funds into knife and gear projects that are coming up.
Stephen, you can find them at JRE Industries.
Sam, yes. This is a "fringe benefit" to clearing out some of my stuff. There's nothing I really want to get rid of but there's so much excess that I'll never use it if I move into the woods full time and live there for another 100 years. :)
Thanks guys,
B
Where's the list?
Well we have a Start!
See Brian's Latest Blog Entry for the details!
Please check back often during the next couple of weeks as Brian gets his items listed and pictured!
Thanks Everyone!
