Hey thanks man, glad you liked it,its the first Real chopper knife ive designed and partially made.My friend whos professional knifesmith made it from my drawings, and i after i got it,there wasnt so much to do to it,i just gave the tip bit more dull shape, but i only removed like a 1.5millimeters of the tip to make it bit more blunt to prevent it from chipping. And the handle had to be made slightly less fat,but that i knew already as we agreed that ill be takin care of the handle making and final finish. But hey there aint so much finishing as its a workhorse to me and i just love that raw look it has now.In the vid im using it for the very first time so i am about to make better vid now when i know how to handle it better. It sure has some magic in the edge as i can cut steel nails with it,and carve 1/4" thick aluminium shavings with out any, really any rolled edges or similar, cracks or anything.I cant tell in english,so well about the heat treatment of it but it included "exotic" materials like exhaust pipe fixing putty and such;).
Someday im hoping to have some of those fine knives that you have,to compare my stuff to those.here we dont have so big"culture" of chopper knives, excluding Leuku knives, sadly.Theyre way good tools out there when you dont have or dont want to drag axe along in your kit.

There's so much to like about that knife.
Be careful though my friend, that steel seems hungry the way it chewed through that wood. :)
Thanks for the vid,
