Today!

Today, I'm going to take a hike...

I can't believe it's been so long since I had some free time.

I'm picking up a new pack at REI this morning, a Camelbak M.U.L.E., and I'm going to load it with minimal gear and loads of water (it's going to be 93° today) and head out to see if the mosquitoes will carry me away.

I have a new GPS app on my iPhone and will start to record my treks to see how far I've gone, how long it took me to go from Point A to Point B, and to keep a track of which parts of the woods I've covered. We'll see if the antenna on the iPhone is better than the Garmin CSx I had. It was pretty much worthless under heavy canopy.
